17-18 Frédéric Stucin is a Paris-based photographer. While his work is focused on shooting personalities for the press, he enjoys street photography as well, shooting in cities across the world. Jack Delano (1914–1997) was an American photographer for the Farm Security Administration (FSA) and a composer noted for his use of Puerto Rican folk material. He travelled to Puerto Rico in 1941 as a part of the FSA project. This trip had such a profound influence on him that he settled there permanently in 1946. (Photo shot in Roxboro, NC, USA, 1940.)
Viviane Dalles completed her master’s degree in 2003 at the National School of Photography in Arles, France. At the beginning of 2005 following the tsunami, she quit her job at Magnum Photos and bought a plane ticket to India to cover the disaster. Her publication credits include The New York Times, GEO Magazine, Marie Claire, M magazine, Le Figaro, ELLE, Courier International among others. Her photographs have been exhibited worldwide. Norah Gustafson was born and raised in the American South. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from Columbia College Chicago.
