Chinese medicine has used the pulse and the

tongue as a window to better understand what

is happening inside the body. Your ear has an

entire map of the body. When something goes

wrong in the body, for reasons we do not

understand, the body shows increased electrical

conductivity at the part of the ear that

corresponds to the part of the body that is

affected. There is a simple electronic device

that can pick up these changes in the ear as a

means of telling you something is wrong with

                    that tissue or organ.

In reference to treatment, for most effective

results the treatment must be designed to affect

the underlying problem. When this is a simple

problem in one organ, it may be relatively easy

to diagnose and treat. However, because of the

interdependence of the parts of the body, a

problem that begins in one organ can, over

time, begin to affect other organs in a domino

effect type of scenario. In these cases, all

tissues, organs and structures will need to be

addressed in order to get the patient well.

Incidentally this is why acupuncture uses
