Acupuncture and herbal medicine are given here

improving digestion so that you are bringing in

plenty of nutrients and raw materials to make new

tissue, and opening up blood flow to the area so the

raw materials reach it most efficiently.

The Remodeling Stage

During this stage,the body takes the new tissue

and restructures it to make it as strong as possible.

At this stage acupuncture is no longer needed and

herbal medicine is optional. What is needed here is

physical therapy or appropriate exercise to make

the tissue stronger.

The remodeling stage can last for weeks or

months depending once again on the extent of

damage, level of health of the patient and the type

of tissue.
