pain may become chronic and more severe over

            time.

Imagine living with this pain for the rest of your

life. What would that do to the quality of your life?

No one should have to endure that.

To effectively treat facet pain, the inflammation

in each of the aforementioned tissues must be

decreased. Once the inflammation is decreased,

signals must be sent to the tissues to help them

repair themselves as much as possible. The pain

can usually be decreased in 2- 4 weeks. However,

because these tissues do not have a direct blood

supply, they take months to a year or more to fully

            heal.

I hope this helped you understand one potential

cause of pain in the neck and back. If you have any

questions, please feel free to ask and if you know

someone who suffers from chronic neck or back

pain, please send this to them. It may help them

find answers to their chronic pain.

Also if you have suggestions for medical
