matrix. You may not have heard of the
extracellular matrix but it is the space around the
cells. This cellular environment is designed to
keep the cells healthy and is one of the major areas
where the immune system operates.

immune cells come to the target area from the
bloodstream and the attack on the cells occurs in
the extracellular matrix. The environment of the
cells, designed to help keep them healthy, is now
contributing to the damage and destruction of the
cells because the extracellular matrix is no longer
functioning as it is supposed to.

matrix to correct its function. Western medicine
