               10.3 A marketing agency charge out staff using the following rates:

                     Senior staff    $35.00 per hour
                     Junior staff    $15.00 per hour.

                     In addition, $10.00 per hour worked is charged to each job to cover
                     administration costs.


                     The agency uses a 30% mark-up on total cost to arrive at the price charged per
                     job.

                     During a period 2,500 hours were charged out in the ratio of 1 senior to 4 junior
                     hours. Overheads were exactly as budgeted.

                     Calculate the total gross profit for the period.
