Subsequent procedures
On the making of the winding-up order, the Official Receiver becomes
liquidator.
Within three months, the Official Receiver will summon meetings of the
creditors and contributories in order to appoint a licensed insolvency
practitioner to take over the job of liquidator and to appoint a liquidation
committee.
The liquidator is responsible for realising the assets and distributing the
proceeds.
The liquidator returns to the court and the court passes an order
dissolving the company.
The liquidator files the order with the Registrar.
The Registrar registers the report and the company is dissolved as
from the date of the order.
