Background and Introduction

• SAICA (ITC) exam:

• 4 papers are written over 2 days

• Areas covers : Auditing, Tax, Financial Accounting and

Management Accounting

• Each paper is 3 hours long, topics are integrated and

sequence of topics covered by each paper is not known in

advance

• Pass mark is 200 marks out of 400 marks available

• Each paper is out of 100 marks

• The minimum exam mark is 25% in any one paper, but the

other 3 papers should score at least 40%

• Make use of SAICA exam pronouncements – to be provided
