Introduction
Firms face many constraints on their activity and plan accordingly.
Examination questions will focus on the problem of scarce resources
that prevent the normal plan being achieved.
For example, a firm is facing a labour shortage this month due to sickness. As a
result, the firm cannot produce the number of units that it would like to.
