Assume the all-inclusive daily rate at a hotel is R500

per day (excluding VAT). Included in the R500 daily

rate is the use of a post-box.

Calculate the VAT if

(a) the person stays in the hotel for four days,

and

(b) the person stays in the hotel for 35 days.
