What a fantastic group of Crocodiles we have had in Grade 2
and 3 this year! Right from our hybrid start in October, when
we finally got to meet up together for half a week at a time,
you Crocodiles have worked and played together with energy
and enthusiasm. Can you remember some of these highlights?
Our chocolate melting experiments where we tried to melt the
bars in the sun but your hands did the job more swiftly;
Your amazing paintings of Mount Fuji in the style of Hokusai;
Pantomime singing for the end of first term show – remember
Wishy Washy Laundry and Just Three Wishes?
Who can forget the Iron Man and all your drawings?
Finding fossils in the new delivery of sand and finally making
our own from salt dough;
Our letter from the Kenya Museum asking for help about Mary
Anning;
Your dinosaur models and filming our dinosaur museum
opening;
The egg rolling competition down the school drive at Easter
and the Pancake Race to celebrate Mardi Gras,
Your teeth models and dancing with them around the
corridor;
Healthy Eating Week and the veggie monsters,
Checking out the climbing wall for the first time;
Wacky Waterworks on the field;
Volunteering to try out our Egyptian sarcophagus;
And finally, mummifying apples and the creation of The
Museum of Ancient Egypt in Cairo for International week!
It’s been a fun year!
Have a great holiday break everyone and good luck as you
move onto Grade 3 and 4.
