The fan-favorite and focal point is arriving at our pre- construction department . Our VDC/BIM specialists discuss the different programs and how they turn a client’s vision into a realistic 3D model preparing for the next step – pre-fabrication .
Underneath the same roof, separated by a soundproof wall, the boisterous sounds of drilling, hammering, and occasional country tunes fill the air of our Pre-fabrication area . The sparks from welding and piles of dense steel is where our technical tradesmen and women get a head start in transforming the 3D models in real time . While
the students take turns navigating a simulated AutoCAD 3D project site with an X-Box controller, this is a great time to discuss another prosperous career path as a technical electrician . The essence of what we do wouldn’t be possible without our skilled tradesmen .
It takes a team compiled with various backgrounds and education to complete a single project . Whether students decide to enter the electrical apprenticeship program, attend a traditional university or choose an alternative path, we take pride in helping serve the future generation prepare for their career paths . Who knows, we might see some familiar faces join the Miller Electric family one day!
