Content: First edition of the important work written by one of the Tose sts, contains twelve “pillars״ [chapters]: e pillar of fear, pillar of idolatry, pillar of times, pillar of food, pillar of seeds, pillar of marital relationships, pillar of judges, pillar of kings, pillar of purity, pillar of vows, pillar of the Temple, its vessels and services, pillar of sacri ces. Edited by Rabbi Binyamin son of Rabbi Avraham from the Anavim family, with an introduction by him. He shortened and edited the original work and added his own comments.
Unique Features: Ownership signature on the title page: I bought it from Rabbi Netanel Terboss ... scholarly glosses.
Condition: Fine. Professional completion of the printer׳s logo on the title page. Aging stains. Isolated worming holes. New magni cent leather binding.

Commentary on Proverbs, by Rabbi Shlomo Doron, known as the “Tashbetz.” Venice, 1623.
Speci cations: [8], 26, [1], 29 - 360, [10] leaves, approximately 13x20 cm.
Unique Features: Large work on Proverbs, with its text. e author, Rabbi Shlomo son of Tzemach Doron [the last Rashbatz], was rabbi of Algeria, which became a Torah center in his time, as well as one of the foremost North African rabbis of his time. Some of his responsa were printed in the book Shu”t Tashbetz [in the Chut HaMeshulash section]. With the author׳s introduction which discusses the predigree of the Doron family to the Ramban, as well as about the passing of his sons. And with several introductions from members of his family, as his sons passed away during his lifetime.
Rare book, especially complete with all the leaves of introduction and indexes.
Several ancient ownership signatures are on the book.
Condition: Semi-leather binding, worming damage, aging stains. Fine condition.
