Unique Features: Rare book, especially complete. e kabbalah researcher, Gershom Scholem, wrote: is edition is extremely rare and I have not seen complete copies for 20 years.

מפרט: [2] קיד דף, 28 ס״מ. לא נשלם בדפוס. שרטוט קבלי גדול.
תוכן: פירוש על ספר הזוהר והוא קיצור מדברי רבי משה קורדובירו- הרמ״ק ורבי חיים ויטאל, נכתב על ידי המקובל הנודע רבי אברהם אזולאי [ש״ל-ת״ה] שעלה לארץ ישראל והתגורר בחברון וחיבר את ‘חסד לאברהם׳, זקן זקנו של רבי יוסף חיים אזולאי-החיד״א. בהקדמה נכתב, שכתב היד היה בידי רבי נסים זרחיה אזולאי מצפת, והשתדל להדפיסו, אך נפטר לפני ההדפסה. רבי נסים זרחיה אזולאי נכדו של החיד״א עלה לארץ והתיישב בצפת ונהרג ברעש האדמה
בשנת תקצ״ז.
מאפיינים יחודיים: מחמת חסרון כיס נדפס החיבור רק על ספר ויקרא, אולם לא הושלם בדפוס, ובעותק שלפנינו יש כל מה שנדפס. בנוסף הרבה מן העותקים נשרפו בשריפה שהייתה בשאלוניקי.
גרשום שלם כתב על הספר: יקר מציאות מאוד. למיטב ידיעתנו הספר לא הופיע במכירות פומביות בעשרות שנים האחרונות.
מצב: טוב מאוד. מעט כתמי זמן. כריכה מקורית מחוזקת. פתיחה $400 הערכה$1,200-$800

Commentary on the book of the Zohar on Vayikra, edited by Rabbi Avraham Azoulay. Salonica, 1842. Especially rare book.
Speci cations: [2] 114 leaves, 28 cm. Printing was not com- pleted. Large kabbalistic sketch.
Content: Commentary on the book of the Zohar which is a summary of the words of Rabbi Moshe Cordovero - the Ramak, and Rabbi Chaim Vital. Written by the famous kabbalist Rabbi Avraham Azoulay [1570-1645] who immigrated to Israel and settled in Hebron. Author of Chessed L׳Avraham, the great grandfather of Rabbi Yosef Chaim Azoulay - the Chida. It is written in the introduction that the manuscript was in the pos- session of Rabbi Nissim Zarchia Azoulay from Safed, who tried to print it but passed away before the printing. Rabbi Nissim Zarchia Azoulay was the Chida׳s grandson, who immigrated to Israel, settled in Safed and was killed in the earthquake of 1837.
Unique Features: Due to lack of funds, only the work on the book of Vayikra was printed, but the printing was not com- pleted, and the copy before us contains all that was printed. Additionally, many of the copies were burned in a re in Salonica.
Gerhsom Scholem wrote about the book: Extremely unusually rare. To the best of our knowledge, the book has not been up for auction in recent decades.
Condition: Very ne. Minimal aging stains. Original reinforced binding.
