רקע: מהדורה שנסדרה ונערכה על פי החיד״א בחייו בעת שהתגורר בליוורנו, עם הקדמה ודברי סיום ממנו, ועם הגהות רבות ממנו. בתחילת הספר כתב החיד״א הקדמה בה הוא גם כותב שהוסיף הגהות בספר,
וחתם את שמו מאי״ן (מהצעיר יוסף אזולאי נר״ו).
מאפיניים יחודיים: חתימות בעלים קדומות והגהות קבליות בכתב יד. חלק מההגהות חתומות: אמבי״ע זלה״ה? חתימות בעלים נוספות: הצעיר יצחק בן מיאקאי... הצעיר חיים בה״ר מרדכי ז״ל.

Unique Features: Important proofread edition of the Rambam with the commentaries, known as the ‘Michtav׳ edition (-1702).
Dozens of scholarly glosses in oriental script, apparently from the late 18th or early 19th century. Most of the glosses are lengthy.
Condition: Moderate. Minimal aging stains. Dismantled binding.

Zohar Al HaTorah, on the book of Bereishit. Leghorn, 1791. First edition with the glosses of the Chida. Many handwritten glosses.
Speci cations: [8] 251, 19 leaves, 24 cm.
Background: Edition arranged and edited by the Chida when he lived in Leghorn, with an introduction conclusion and many glosses by him. At the beginning of the book the Chida wrote an introduction in which he writes that he added glosses to the book, and signs his name Me׳ein (from the young one Yosef Azulai).
Unique Features: Early ownership signatures and handwritten kabbalistic glosses. Some of the glosses are signed AMBY״A ZLH״H? Additional ownership signatures: the young one Yitzchak son of Mikai ... the young one Chaim son of Mordechai.
