Weekly Ultra-Orthodox newspaper, the mouthpiece of the Ultra-Orthodox community in the Land of Israel. e Ultra-Orthodox community and Agudat Yisrael's main means of publicity during the British Mandate. Jerusalem, 1922-1948. Enormous collection with (almost) all the newspapers printed over nearly thirty years. Bound in 8 volumes.
Background: e central newspaper of the Ultra-Orthodox community in the Land of Israel, which followed events in Israel and the Diaspora for the best part of thirty years. A tumultuous period of history: the waves of immigration to Israel, the battle against Zionism along with the dispute with Religious Zionism, the Arab riots, the Holocaust period, the Teheran Children, until a few months after the establishment of the State of Israel when the newspaper׳s publication ceased. e rst editor was Rabbi Rafael Katzenelbogen. Rabbi Amram Blau then edited the newspaper for seven years, but he left the newspaper due to coarse expressions against Rabbi Kook. His brother Rabbi Moshe Blau then became editor in chief, and Moshe Glikman- Porush was the actual editor.
In the issues written during the Holocaust years it can be seen how the information about the destruction of European Jewry gradually reached Israel. In the issue from Adar 1943 (1080) the story of the ninety three holy girls who were murdered in the Holocaust appears for the rst time.
Enormous collection containing all the years in which the news- paper was printed, almost 1,300 editions. e rst (and last) issues, and possibly a few other issues, are lacking.

כרוך ב 8 כרכים.
רקע: העתון המרכזי של היהדות החרדית בארץ ישראל, שליווה את הקורה בארץ ובתפוצות במשך קרוב לשלושים שנה. תקופה היסטורית סוערת:העליות לארץ, המאבק בציונות לצד היריבות עם ציונות הדתית, הפרעות של הערבים, תקופת השואה, ילדי טהרן, עד חודשים אחדים
לאחר קום מדינת ישראל שהשבועון חדל מלהופיע
העורך הראשון היה הרב רפאל קצנלנבוגן. לאחר מכן במשך שבע שנים הרב עמרם בלוי ערך את העתון, אולם בגין דברים בוטים נגד הרב קוק הוא פרש מהעיתון, ומאז אחיו רבי משה בלוי היה העורך הראשי והעורך
בפועל היה ר׳ משה גליקמן-פרוש.
בגליונות שנכתבו בשנות השואה ניתן להווכח כיצד חלחלו הידיעות אודות השמדת יהודי אירופה. בגליון מחודש אדר תש״ג (1080) נכתב לראשונה הספור אודות תשעים ושלוש הנערות הקדושות שנהרגו בשואה.
אוסף ענק כולל את כל השנים שבהם נדפס העתון קרוב ל 1,300 גליונות. חסר הגליון הראשון שהופיע (והגליון האחרון) ויתכן שעוד גליונות בודדים.
