קנדלברה כסף חתום מרהיב לארבע נרות, בסגנון עמודי כותרת הלניסטיות. תוצרת פוזן. גרמניה, ראשית המאה ה-20.
מפרט: קנדלברה הכולל פמוט מרכזי, ושלשה קנים נוספים המתפתלים ויוצאים מתוך הקנה המרכזי. גובה: 48 ס״מ. מרחק מירבי בין הקנים: 30 ס״מ. אורך הבסיס: 12 ס״מ. מוכבד. משקל ללא ההכבדה 876 גרם.
מאפיינים יחודיים: ניתן לפרק את הקנדלברה ולהשתמש בבסיס כפמוט. כל הקנים מעוצבים כעמודי כותרת סגנון הלניסטים ומעוטרים בעלים ופרחים, ומחוברות בהברגה. בסיס הקנדלברה מעוצב כבסיס עמוד
ריבועי.
רקע: בית העסק היהודי פוזן למסחר בכלי כסף פעל בגרמניה משנת 1865, וקיבל רישיון לפתיחת בית מלאכה בשנת 1869. בתי העסק שלהם נהרסו כליל בליל הבדולח בשנת 1938 ונבזזו. כלי הכסף שייצרו מהווים עדות לתקופת השגשוג התרבותי והמסחרי של יהודים בגרמניה

Spectacular hallmarked silver candelabra for four candles, in the style of Hellenistic pillars. Made in Posen. Germany, early 20th century.
Speci cations: Candelabra with a central candlestick, and three additional branches which come out of the central branch. Height: 48 cm. Maximum distance between the branches: 30 cm. Length of the base: 12 cm. Weighted. Weight without weights 876 grams.
Unique Features: e candelabra can be dismantled and the base can be used as a candlestick. All of the branches are designed as Hellenistic style pillars and decorated with leaves and owers, and attached by screwing on. e base of the candelabra is designed as the base of a square pillar.
Background: e Jewish store in Posen for trade in silver vessels was active in Germany from 1865 onward, and received a license to open a workshop in 1869. eir businesses were com- pletely destroyed and looted on Kristallnacht in 1938. e silver vessels they produced are testimony to a period of cultural and commercial prosperity for German Jewry before the Holocaust.
