מאפיינים יחודיים: נדיר ביותר. הספר נדפס ללא מקום ושנת דפוס, והביבליוגרפים נבוכו ברישומו ,ובאלה שמות (מס׳ 74) הובאו כמה דעות בזה, ונטו לומר שזו כנראה מהדורת אוסטראה תקפ״א שהזכיר בן יעקב, אולם ברשימת סטפנסקי נקבע המקום והשנה: רוסיה פולין תק״צ לערך.
הספר נדפס בפורמט כיס קטן, כי כך היה גם בכתב יד אצל רבי נחמן “כדי שיוכל לשאת אצלו תמיד כי המדות הם יסוד כל התורה כולה״ (ראה בהקדמת מוהרנ״ת).

מצב: טוב. במס׳ דפים הושלמו השוליים הלבנים אמנותית עם פגיעה בכותרות. כתמי זמן. כריכת קלף חדשה נאה.

In praise of good character traits and in denigration of bad character traits, drawn up and arranged in alphabetical order, by Rabbi Nachman of Breslov. Ostrog, 1821 [?].
Speci cations: 102 leaves, paper. 13 cm. With introductions from Rabbi Natan.
Unique Features: Extremely rare. e book was printed with- out place and year of printing, and the bibliographers were unsure how to record it, and in Eleh Shemot (no. 74) several opinions were quoted, and they believed that this seems to be the Ostrog edition of 1821 which Ben Yaakov mentions. However, Stefansky records the place and year as: Russia Poland, c. 1830.
e book was printed in small pocket format, as Rabbi Nachman׳s manuscript was “so that it can be carried with him at all times because character traits are the foundation of the entire Torah״ (refer to Rabbi Natan׳s introduction).

Condition: Fine. e white margins of several leaves were pro- fessionally completed with damage to the titles. Aging stains. New, pleasant parchment binding.
