מפרט: [2], פד דף. 34 ס״מ. שוליים רחבים. סטפנסקי חסידות 588. נייר כחול. מאפיינים יחודיים: עם הסכמות גדולי החסידות באותה תקופה: רבי לוי יצחק מברדיטשוב שכתב “זה השער לבא אל היכל פנימה לפני ולפנים לכתבי הקדוש האר״י זצוק״ל״, רבי אשר צבי מאוסטראה, רבי מנחם מנדל מראווני, וכן הסכמה ארוכה מאת רבי אפרים זלמן מרגליות. בשער הספר מסופר, שבשעה שהביאו את כתב היד של הספר לפני הבעל שם טוב ועיין בכתבים, חבקם ונשקם ונענע בראשו ואמר, אשרי העם שככה לו. לפנינו המהדורה הראשונה, מהדורה דומה נדפסה אחריה, ראה פריט הבא.
מצב: טוב. מעט כתמי זמן. קרעים קלים בשולי השער הלבנים. פגמים זעירים בפינות הדפים הראשונים. כריכה פשוטה בלויה.

On the title page it is told that at the moment the manuscript of this book was brought before the Baal Shem Tov and he examined what was written, he hugged it, kissed it, shook his head and said, praiseworthy is the people for whom this is so.
Before us is the rst edition. A similar edition was printed after it, which is also found in this catalog.
Condition: Fine. Aging stains. Light tears in the white margins of the title page. Tiny aws in the corners of the rst pages. Simple, worn binding.
