דרישת שלום מאביו.
הרב יוסף חיים שניאור קוטלר [תרע״ח-תשמ״ב] ראש ישיבת לייקווד בניו ג׳רזי וחבר מועצת גדולי התורה בארצות הברית. בנו של רבי אהרן קוטלר מסלוצק מייסד הישיבה בליקווד, ונכדו של רבי איסר זלמן מלצר. בתקופתו גדלה והתעצמה הישיבה בליקווד ותלמידי הישיבה פתחו ישיבות וכוללים בכל רחבי ארצות הברית. הרברפאלאליהואליעזרמישקובסקי(כונהרבי ֶאֶל׳ה)[תרע״ז-תשמ״א] היה ראש ישיבת כנסת חזקיהו בכפר חסידים ורב היישוב, חיבר את

e Letter's Content: Rabbi Shneur Kotler turns to the rosh yeshiva of Kfar Chassidim to accept and build a relationship with a young man who learned in yeshiva in the United States and now wants to learn in the yeshiva in Kfar Chassidim. Rabbi Shneur even mentions the boy׳s lineage. e letter was written during the lifetime of Rabbi Aharon Kotler, Rabbi Shneur׳s father, who died in 1962, and Rabbi Shneur passes on regards from his father in an addition to the letter.
Rabbi Yosef Chaim Shneur Zalman Kotler [1918-1982] was rosh yeshiva of the Lakewood Yeshiva in New Jersey and a member of the Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah in the United States. Son of Rabbi Aharon Kotler of Slutsk, founder of the yeshiva in Lakewood, and grandson of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer. In his time, the Lakewood yeshiva experienced tremendous growth, and the yeshiva׳s students established yeshivas and kollels throughout the United States.
Rabbi Rafael Eliyahu Eliezer Mishkovsky (known as Rabbi Eleh) [1917-1981] was the rosh yeshiva of the Knesset Chizkiyahu yeshiva in Kfar Chassidim and the rabbi of the settlement. He wrote the book Mishnat Eliyahu.

Content: Rabbi Zilberberg sends money to Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld for the gabbai of the Gemach and Beit Midrash of Kollel Warsaw, to be distributed to those who learn in memory of Rabbi Yehoshua Levinsky, the dayan of Breslau, on the anni- versary of his death for the next twenty years. e letter lists the order of the study and prayer and the necessary nancial arrangements.
Background: Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Naftali Zilberberg [1850- 1930], was one of the foremost dayanim of Warsaw. Student of Rabbi Yisrael Salanter and the ‘Beit HaLevi.׳ Con dante of the Netziv and the ‘Chafetz Chaim.׳ Rabbi Elchanan Wasserman called him “ e righteous gaon.״ He was very active in strength- ening observance of Shabbat and family purity, and printed a Kol Koreh poster to encourage keeping halacha. He printed the works of his father, Rabbi Avraham Binyamin Av Beit Din of Viroshov, and the writings of his grandfather the Kutno gaon, author of Zayit Ra׳anan.
