האדמו"ר רבי ישראל פרידמן מהוסיאטין [תרי"ח-תש"ט 1857-1948]
נודע כאיש קדוש, היה זקן אדמו״רי בית רוזין, ונכדו האחרון של רבי ישראל מרוזין. משנת תרנ״ד ממלא מקום אביו אדמו״ר בהוסיאטין ואלפי חסידים מגליציה הסתופפו בצלו מהם רבנים נודעים מכל רחבי גליציה. בשנת תרצ״ז עלה לארץ ישראל לתל-אביב, ונודע כזקן האדמו״רים וכאיש קדוש ומלא הערצה בכל החוגים. ידוע במיוחד תפילתו על קבר ה׳אור החיים׳ בעת שהנאצים היו בשערי ארץ ישראל ראה גם: אלפסי,

מצב: טוב מאוד. מעט כתמי זמן. חתוך דפים צבוע באדום. כריכה מקורית אדומה עם הטבעה.

Background: e book deals with the period between the end of the Mishnaic era until after the completion of the Talmud. Stamp: e library of Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn.
e Admor Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn [1857- 1948], known as a holy man, elder of the Admors of the Ruzhin dynasty, and the last grandson of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. He succeeded his father as Admor of Husiatyn in 1894, and thou- sands of chassidim from Galicia spent time with him, including well-known rabbis from throughout Galicia. In 1937 he immi- grated to Israel and settled in Tel Aviv, and was known as the elder of the Admors and as a holy man, admired by people of all sectors. He was especially well-known for his prayers at the grave of the ‘Or HaChaim׳ when the Nazis were at the gates of the Land of Israel. רקע: האדמו״ר רבי שלמה [שלמה׳ניו] פרידמן מטשורטקוב, נולד לאביו האדמו״ר רבי נחום מרדכי בשנת תרנ״ד, היה חתן דודו האדמו״ר רבי ישראל מסדיגורא. משנת תש״ו כיהן כאדמו״ר מטשורטקוב בתל אביב,
ונפטר בשנת תשי״ט. דברי תורתו בספר דברי שלמה. מצב: בינוני. פגמים בדפים האחרונים. כריכה פשוטה.

Bound with: *Yonat Ilem. A work on kabbalah by Rabbi Menachem Azariah of Fano - the Rema of Fano. Zolkiew, 1756.

Background: e Admor Rabbi Shlomo [Shlomonyu] Friedman of Chortkov was born to his father the Admor Rabbi Nachum Mordechai in 1894. He was the son-in-law of his uncle the Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Sadigura. Served as Admor of Chortkov in Tel Aviv from 1946 onward and passed away in 1959. His teachings are found in the book Divrei Shlomo.
