Unique Features: Pedigreed copy. Stamps of the Admor Rabbi Yechiel Meir of Kotzk - Lomaz, who was the son of the Admor Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Lomaz, who lived in Praga near Warsaw. Several handwritten glosses among the book׳s leaves, which may have been written by the Admor Rabbi David Morgenstern of Kotzk, the rstborn son of the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel - the ‘Saraf of Kotzk1809-1873) ׳), the second Admor of the Kotzk dynasty.
Background: First edition of the words of Torah and chassidut delivered by Rabbi Simcha Bunim of Peshischa (1765-1827), ״a Chassidic giant – the successor of the “Yehudi HaKadosh of Peshischa. In his youth, he studied with Rabbi Mordechai Bennet of Nikolsburg, and also studied languages and science. He later became attracted to chassidut and attached himself to the Chozeh of Lublin. He greatly impacted the Chassidic movement. e letter sent from Peshischa about the secret of Rosh Hashana is printed at the end of the book with the sig- nature of Rabbi Simcha Bunim followed by signatures of the great Admors of Poland.
Condition: Fine. Stained title page. Minimal aging stains and worming holes. Simple binding.

מאפיינים יחודיים: עותק מיוחס. חותמות האדמו״ר רבי יחיאל מאיר מקוצק – לומאז׳, שהיה בנו של האדמו״ר רבי צבי הירש מלומאז׳, שהתגורר בפראגא שליד וארשא. מס׳ הגהות בכתב יד בין דפי הספר וייתכן שאלו נכתבו על ידי האדמו״ר רבי דוד מורגנשטרן מקוצק, בנו בכורו של האדמו״ר רבי מנחם מנדל – ‘השרף מקוצק׳ (תקס״ט – כ״ב בתמוז
תרל״ג) היה האדמו״ר השני לשושלת קוצק.
רקע: מהדורה ראשונה של דברי תורה וחסידות שאמר רבי שמחה בונם מפשיסחא (תקכ"ה-תקפ"ז 1765-1827. מענקי החסידות, ממשיך דרכו של ‘היהודי הקדוש׳ מפשיסחא. בצעירותו למד אצל רבי מרדכי בנעט מניקלשבורג, כמו כן למד שפות ומדעים. לאחר מכן התקרב לחסידות ונעשה תלמידו של ה׳חוזה מלובלין׳. השפעתו על תנועת החסידות היתה עצומה. בסוף הספר נדפסה האגרת שנשלחה מפשיסחא אודות סוד ראש השנה עם חתימת רבי שמחה בונים ואחריו חתימות גדולי
