שפירא העביר ספרים רבים מספרייתו לספריית הישיבה.

רקע: רבי אהרן וולקין תלמיד ישיבת וולוז׳ין ורבי יצחק אלחנן ספקטור מקובנה. בגיל צעיר התמנה לרבה של גורזד בליטא על פי בקשת רבי יצחק אלחנן, ואחר כך היה רב בכמה קהילות, היה וראש ישיבה נודע ודרשן מפורסם. היה רב בפינסק ונאסר ע״י הקומוניסטים לחצי שנה.

Content: e book was printed in Turka in the printing press of Yehoshua Heschel son of Zvi Hirsch and Shlomo son of Meir. e Hebrew printing press in Turka, Ukraine existed for just a few years, and only a few books were printed in it. Unique Features: ere are some ten handwritten glosses throughout the book. e glosses are long and scholarly, mostly on the topic of the laws of ta׳arovet and sale of chametz. Stamps: B. Favianitz.

* Choshen Aharon, novellae and commentaries on the Shul- chan Aruch, Choshen Mishpat, by Rabbi Aharon Walkin. Warsaw, 1927. With stamps of Rabbi Shapiro of Lublin, and stamps of the library of the Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva. It is known that Rabbi Meir Shapiro transferred many books from his personal library to the Yeshiva׳s library.
* Choshen Aharon, novellae and commentaries on the Shul- chan Aruch, Choshen Mishpat, volume three, by Rabbi Aharon Walkin. Warsaw, 1930. Dedication from the author in his handwriting.
Background: Rabbi Aharon Walkin was a student in the Volozhin Yeshiva, and of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchonon Spektor of Kovno. He was appointed as rabbi of Gargždai, Lithuania, at a young age, at Rabbi Yitzchak Elchonon׳s request, and later served as rabbi of several communities, and was a famous rosh yeshiva and darshan. He was rabbi of Pinsk, where he was imprisoned by the Communists for half a year. Among the oldest rabbis murdered in the Holocaust.
