Background: Rabbi Menachem son of Rabbi Binyamin Recanati was one of the great early kabbalists [1250-1310] who lived during the time of the Rashba. He was one of the rst Italian kabbalists, as well as a signi cant adjudicator. e Beit Yosef [Orach Chaim, 651] quotes from the book about what the author saw in a dream regarding the four species, and rules halacha based on it.
Unique Features: Glosses in ancient handwriting. Second edition of the well known book of kabbalah from the kabbalist Rabbi Menachem Recanati. With additions and indexes not found in the rst edition.
Condition: Fine. Stains, worming holes in the margins of iso- lated leaves. Magni cent leather binding.

רקע: רבי מנחם ב״ר בנימין רקאנטי מגדולי המקובלים הקדמונים [-1250 1310] שחי בזמן הרשב״א, ומראשוני המקובלים באיטליה, והיה גם פוסק מובהק. הבית יוסף [אורח חיים סימן תרנ״א] מביא מה שכתוב בספר אודות ארבעת המינים מה שראה המחבר בחלום, והוא מביא
מזה להלכה.
מאפיינים יחודיים: הגהות בכתב יד קדום. מהדורה שניה של הספר הקבלי הנודע מאת המקובל רבי מנחם רקאנטי. עם הוספות ומפתחות שלא היו במהדורה הראשונה.
