Peter Delaney was re-elected Chair of the Commission and Lana Spillman was re-elected Vice-
Chair.
Commission members devote numerous volunteer hours in the review of proposed projects, site
visits, meetings, training, and attendance at conferences, including the fall and spring MACC
Conferences. Several Commission members also have joint appointments on other Town boards.
Joint appointments include Natasha Grigg on the Community Preservation Committee and Land
Advisory Committee, and Mark Mitsch as a liaison to the Lakes Ponds and Streams Committee.
The Conservation Commission staff consists of Ross Povenmire as Director of Conservation,
and Judi Stickney as the Commission’s Minutes Secretary. Chuck Tirone resigned his position
as Assistant Conservation Administrator in May 2015 and is currently the Conservation Agent in
the town of Reading, Massachusetts.

HAYNES LAND ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Haynes Land Advisory Committee continued to finalize plans for Boxford Common, the
recreation and conservation project which includes trails, athletic fields, play structures and a
