DEFINITION The prefecture of character is the development of our religiosity, morality and knowledge. An object most worthy to God’s presence is character, because it is the aim and goal of God’s creation, the product of Christ’s Incarnation and purpose of man’s strivings. No worthy gift than Catholic Character stands firm in a world of temptation and trials of life .It reflects the light of the Person of Christ in seeking its purpose through intellectual discipline of heart, mind and spirit. Moral character is the rich soil of human nature embodied in the individual’s informed conscience and the spiritual motives that rule the hearts and souls of men and women. A good heart, benevolent feelings, enlightened mind are foundational elements of our character and identity forged from the Image of God in man
