A COMMUNITY OF GOD’S PEOPLE
CHILDREN
At All Saints, we seek to provide our children with opportunities to worship, to form life-giving relationships of mutual joy, and to give themselves away in service to others in childlike ways – the ways of Jesus’ kingdom. In the gospels, Jesus says that everything God desires us to be is summed up by these two commandments: “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” This love is formed through worship, in the midst of relationships, and by serving those in need.
This year, we have seen our children being formed on Sunday mornings across the wide range of children’s programs we offered. Sunday School for elementary- aged children led by Melissa Pardue and faithful volunteer teachers serves nearly 60 children each week. “Small Saints” gives kids in Kindergarten - 3rd Grade the opportunity to experience God’s Word through teaching, music, and activity during the sermon time. This spring, we have averaged nearly 50 children every Sunday in Small Saints. We look forward this summer to opening our doors not only to our own children but those in the larger community
during Vacation Bible School, June 10-13. We hope you’ll join us!
HOW YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:
We need volunteers for Vacation Bible School! Sign up to help either beforehand with set up or during VBS (June 10-13) at allsaintsaustin.org/vbs.
