They have so much knowledge and skill to impart with the younger age groups, the awe in the faces of the younger Nippers when they get to engage with the Under 14s (and occasional youth and cadet members) does literally bring tears to my eyes. They all benefit from the experience and engagement without even really knowing how. I watched the Under 14 cohort grow, with pride and enthusiasm, into young adults during the season. We can’t thank them enough for the guidance they provide
the younger nippers and I remain hopeful that they will chose to continue to engage with the younger nippers in years to come. It is with a little sadness but a lot of gratitude and pride that I wish them well in their future endeavours

Invaluable life experiences for those who have so much zest for living! Hell Day for this seasons’ U10s also offered its usual challenges and experiences. Congratulations to all participants, (including parents who also rode the emotional waves with the kids) as graduates of the 2020/21 Hell Week and Hell Day program!
With a lot of new nippers, comes a lot of education for families and a growing number of families who are sensibly choosing to participate in the Junior Activities surf safe education program. We are experiencing a larger number of nippers who are joining the program in older age groups. This does present
