While the team had worked well together before the race, the pressure was finally on and the

disagreements began. They started off rather slowly as each member had a different idea of
how to control the ship. In Max’s culture, their customs value staying slow and steady in order
to win a race. However, for Sophie’s culture, people are very competitive and use their boost

right at the beginning to get a headstart on the other ships. Their clashing values made it
hard to work together.
