STEP 1: DEFINING

 What does ‘’tuition fee’’ mean?
Tuition is when college or university is paid for their services. An example UTA is a tuition free in
some cases if students don’t approve the semester they will have to pay for their studies later on.

 Should college or university be free?
In some point it’s an advantage not to have to pay for college, because of its high amount but in
another point of view it might be necessary for a better environment and also better teachers.

STEP 2: OPPOSING OPINIONS

‘’Should a college or university education be tuition free?’’

Yes

 Advantage for people who can’t afford college
 More people will study and obtain a degree

No

 Services in college like cleaning will be horrible
 There weren’t be good teachers

STEP 3: DRAFT

College or university tuition should be free because it will benefit students and the society.
I. College being free could help people who can’t afford for studies.

A. It will help them, not having to worry to work, only focus on their studies.
B. It will take a lot of pressure from their parents
II. People will have more opportunity to study.

A. There will be less students without a degree.
B. Students will have more confidence in themselves.
