FINAL REFLECTION
Before the subject began, I had some expectations related with writing, grammar, etc.
However I learned about things I did not expect related with real teaching, and traditional
thinking.
One thing I learned is about real teaching. In the beginning the new teacher showed a
neutral attitude focused only on the subject without contact with its students, in contrast with
other teachers who try to find a deeper connection with their students. So, I discover the real
teaching, which is an art, art that consists in create a weather of confidence between a teacher
and students. Not many teachers can do art, not many teachers can stablish a weather where
the knowledge flows and the confidence and respect work together, many teachers take care
of their salaries instead of taking care of doing their work. Because, if teaching is an art and
teachers do not do art, they are not teachers.
Another thing I learned is traditional thinking. The thinking about core countries are
exact examples of what we have to do to improve the education system is a trash thinking.
Several core countries were and are over poor countries for a long time, so that thinking
became a tradition. However, that thinking is trash because every country around the world
is different, every nation has its own history and customs, every state or region have a
different organization with different people. For those reasons the strategies that a core
country used to improve its education system and its economy may or not work in poor
countries. So, new strategies have to be invented, imagined, and created for each country,
voting for innovation and originality.
To conclude, I can say the time is passing and “teachers” are going to be teachers when
they realized that life has to be lived with passion and effort in whatever they work.
Traditional thoughts and the real teaching are things which “teachers” do not realize because
they always thought they were real teachers when in fact they were people in a job without a
vocation, and the knowledge is not matter of age.
