Coaches Welcome..

We would like to extend our warmest welcome to Leyland Warriors for todays
game down at Boardmans Lane.

We hope you enjoy the next forty minutes of rugby, watching our aspiring
future stars enjoying playing the game we are all passionate about.

Our ethos here at Blackbrook Rugby Club is that Sunday is Fun Day and for
that reason we encourage all parents and spectators to respect every player
on the field and show their appreciation for any great rugby played by your
team or the opposition.

It is Grandparents day here at Blackbrook today and we would love to
welcome all grandparents. Whether it is your first time watching your
grandson or you are a regular grandparent spectator, we really hope you
enjoy the atmosphere and get stuck in cheering all players taking part in
todays match. We really don’t mind if you give your own grandson an extra
little cheer though!!

Warriors season so far … After a very difficult start to the season, which for
many of these players is their first season playing the game. Leyland Warriors
under 8s are starting to find their way and being competitive in games.
As a team they are getting more confident and improving every game we play.
Every player has had bumps and bangs and got up and dusted themselves
down and carried on without complaints. As their coach I’m proud of every
single one of my players and I enjoy every game almost as much as the boys
do.

As a final note we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our many
sponsors who have generously donated to our club. Without the support of
local businesses like this our club would struggle to operate and certainly
wouldn't be able to give our young players the kit and equipment they
deserve.
