Last weeks match report

As everybody enjoyed a long bank holiday weekend the boys were left with
no fixture so to ensure we gave them their pre-easter rugby fix we hosted
two friendly matches against our good friends from Pilks Recs.

The games were played in great spirit with a number of Pilks players taking
turns in playing game time for Blackbrook due to us having a few absentees
in the ranks.

Blackbrook certainly learned a lot from playing against a very capable and
highly skilled Pilks outfit. We look forward to many more of these types of
games. See you next time Pilks!!!

Our last league game was a trip down the East Lancs to Salford based
Langworthy Reds. Some excellent attacking rugby was played by Brook
running in a total of 13 tries. This included hat tricks from Daniel Roberts,
Freddie Hewitt and Harry Davies, backed up with a brace from John Bennett
and solo tries from Dylan Mather and Tyler Middlehurst.

Aiden Kay, Ethan Tucker, Harvey Whittle and Tyler Pook put some great
defensive work in whilst hard yards were gained by Zain Matthews, Toby
Edwards and Sonny Clare with a bit of flair and shape added by Lucas
Waddilove, Jack Jameson and Scott Brown.

Keep up the great work lads and carry on working hard in training and we
will continue to grow as a team.
