meeting new people and making lasting connections through art and creativity was something that i longed for. i needed a change from the corporate world. not sure of what my next step would be, i was confident in the direction in which i wanted to go. inspiration was to come from an unlikely source...
i had inherited my great grandmother’s silverware set from
my mother. having a profound appreciation for antiques, seeing old silverware being turned into works of art was so fascinating to me. i wondered if there was a way to go beyond the frequently seen styles and break new ground in terms of design.
wth my engineer/artist husband daniel, silver spoon jewelry was born. from the small confines of our garage, we transformed silverware pieces from the late 1800s into whimsical animals, delicate flowers, and romantic heart pendants. with hard work, determination, and some
lucky breaks, our business expanded and we were able to reach the hearts of many.
today, silver spoon jewelry can be found in gift stores, galleries, and museums throughout the united states and in several countries around the world, as this unique line continues to bring the elegance of the past, into
modern times.
