phenomena, I talked to this interest. I told them stories about Swami’s boundless power and glory and how such phenomena had never before been seen by so many. Here was compelling evidence that man’s consciousness does merge into the infinite and become divine consciousness. I told them that Sai Baba had been seen in two or more places at once; he could speak all languages of the world, had unlimited knowledge and wisdom, and could teach any person about any subject. He could turn a person’s life around with a glance. I told them he was full of joy and love at all times, could cure all illnesses, and even raise the dead.
What a joy to tell people of such incredible events, to tell them that they needn’t fear pain, despair, grief, or death, that there is a master with us who demonstrates over and over again that consciousness is infinite and man’s nature is divine love.
I stopped to see the reaction. These few words generally stop most people in their tracks. Audiences are usually polarized. Some people feel elated; others become resistant.
There was a pregnant pause. Then Dr. Chustikov began. “The ideas you are presenting are interesting to all of us. My interest is in longevity. Maybe there is something here, some clue that will help us understand how to prolong man’s life.” This statement indicated that he grasped the idea that Sai Baba was boundless and could transcend aging and death.
Then someone commented, “We’re in a transition period. Man is beginning to realize that he’s not the body or the mind, that he is infinite spirit without form. We extend beyond birth and death into the infinite and eternal. When man fully realizes it, we will relate differently and understand the high purpose of our lives.” I thought to myself, “My God, this man understands!”
Then someone at the end of the room took the floor. “I am a biological researcher. I have evidence in my work that although there are many forms of life, there is only one underlying reality from which everything comes. I see a commonality, a source
