position. He immediately said, “She should work in Bangalore. I will be in Whitefield \[about 12 miles from Bangalore\] and she can visit frequently.”
What a wonderful development! Look what can happen when we surrender. Judy accepted the position and was supremely happy in India, learning international aspects of management and Indian business. She visited Swami frequently and called us to describe how beautiful he looked and how much love he gave his devotees. Swami had brought Judy to his lotus feet, where she could thrive in her job and visit him frequently.
Sai Baba’s Words Give Courage
Swami’s words have the power to li me above worldly worries. Whenever I read them I know that they are not emanating from a mere mortal. No human can speak like he does: can stand in front of thousands almost on a daily basis and without notes or prior preparation and deliver an ever fresh, unending flow of the most profound wisdom. He draws reference to Indian scriptures and also to the holiest scriptures of all the world religions. He speaks and writes with supreme authority, clarity, simplicity, depth, breadth, command, universality, fluidity, humor, and love. His words have an uncanny appropriate meaning for the moment, a special message needed at the exact time. He relates in-depth stories from every religion with detail that not even the most advanced scholar in the religion can remember. He speaks and sings with such so sweetness that I cannot but melt to the caress, much like that of the most loving Mother. He may rise to the sky with a powerful directive from the all wise Father.
