• The mind is restless and unsteady, always moving like leaves in the wind.
• The mind is susceptible to mental illness, such as mood and thought disorders.
 We can overcome our limitations when we are aware of them. Buddhi (our conscience) is the aspect of mind that discriminates between what is important and what is not. Sai Baba says that buddhi is “the thorn that removes the thorn.” The buddhi aspect of mind is the key to enlightenment. If we turn the mind toward the senses and to the outer world of objects, we get locked into duality, a world of pleasure, pain, birth, death, and suffering. If our discrimination is
