This year, Dr. James Rutka received several recognitions from his peers in neurosurgery, including recognition from the World Federation of Neurological Societies with their Medal of Honor Award; the Golden Neuron Award from the World Academy of Neurological Surgery and the Distinguished Service Award awarded by the American Academy of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
