Welcomes its First

Homeowners

THYME HERVEY BAY has officially welcomed the
first homeowners to its new lifestyle resort. This is a
huge milestone as it marks what will be the beginning
of a vibrant community of active over 50s in the
Hervey Bay region.
Among the first homeowners to be welcomed were
Celia and Jake, who set off from Victoria a year ago
to travel around Australia with the goal of finding a
place to settle down. They chose Hervey Bay thanks
to its beautiful beaches, warm weather and outdoor
lifestyle that’s right on their doorstep. Celia and Jake
particularly love kayaking and golf, so this locale suits
their lifestyle perfectly.

“We love our new Hervey Bay community. We have
already had two homeowner BBQ’s which has been a
wonderful way for us to all get together. Everyone has
been so friendly,” says Jake. “We have also formed a
social club with various activities in the diary for us to
look forward to.”

“We love that Thyme Hervey Bay is located within
Hervey Bay because everything we need is within
a 10-minute drive from shopping centres, medical
facilities, restaurants and of course, the beaches,”
says Celia. “The size of our house is perfect for
the two of us. It’s far more manageable and less
maintenance than the family home sold. We love our
new, beautifully finished home and our neighbours
are just wonderful. Best of all, our two kitties have also
settled in nicely.”

“The staff and management have been great.
They are as much part of our community as the
homeowners, so thank you and well done to them. We
can’t wait to continue growing with the Thyme Hervey
Bay community,” added Jake.
