Over the last (17) years I have adjudicated over 30,000
insurance claim cases and have provided expert medico legal
opinions in more than 1000 claim cases.
M/s Reliance General Insurance Co Ltd has approached me
seeking expert opinion in this claim of Thakkar Corporation
(hereinafter referred as INSURED). A claim has been
submitted under Claim no 3117216798.
The facts of the case are:
1. As per statement of alleged driver Mr. Manohar Naik:
On 29.10.2017, at 6 am in the morning on National
Highway 222, while driving the IV, it ran over the porthole
and got overturned on driver side.
The alleged cleaner Mr. Udhav Naik came under the IV
and died on the spot.
I escaped with simple injury to my person.
Suspicion is for driver change in this case since driver did
not sustain any injuries.
I have been requested to scrutinize the documents at hand
and comment on the following points of the case:
Evaluate the damage to the insured vehicle
