Philosophy
• Approach instruction in a simple manner; get to know the individual, and
then tailor my instruction to the student.
• Get each student to feel comfortable and relaxed; to give them the best chance to
learn.
• Utilize video; teaching aids, and exercises to help each student understand what
aspects of their game need improvements.
• Ensure the membership that the professional staff will be available for private and
playing lessons by qualified teachers for golfers of all abilities.
• Conduct various clinics and schools for women, juniors, and men. These clinics
will cover all topics of golf.
• Open opportunities for on-course instruction and clinics.
• Host special multi-day teaching events with the industry leading golf instructors
as a unique service to the membership.
• Take time to walk the range, allowing yourself to give pointers before or after a
round.
HD Video & V1 Coaching Software
To improve my instruction program, I have introduced the use of a high speed
camera to enhance the quality and presentation with V1 Professional Video Coaching
System. V1 Software allows me to capture video of my student’s swing and will help
illustrate flaws and improve their swing. This software allows the use of lines, angles,
and side-by-side comparisons to show my students what we need to work on and how to
improve.
The high-speed camera allows me to capture student’s swings without becoming
blurry. With the use of this camera I can easily see the face angles and contact at impact.
The high shutter speed also helps me with putting instruction. This high shutter speed
will pick up the balls reaction after impact. You will easily see if the ball is skipping or
rolling off the putter face.
With both of these pieces of technology, I can make my lessons and time on the
lesson tee more efficient. I am also able to communicate concepts and swing flaws more
clear to my students.
