ready and set out for the jungle. After walking for a long time they all sat near a

river as they were hungry, thirsty and tired. They all drank water and played for
some time. Suddenly they saw a herd of elephants. The elephants were furious

and were breaking the trees. Children left their bags and ran as fast as they
could. They went deep into the jungle. It was getting dark and all were very

hungry and scared. Adam asked the boys to split up into groups.’’ One group
should bring fruits, the other should bring wood and dry leaves for the fire and

the last should bring fish.’’ Said Adam. The boys did as they were told. They all

gathered food and lit up a bonfire. One of them said, “If Adam was not there I
would have picked wild or poisonous fruits”. They all slept on a huge tree to

keep away from wild animals. The next day, taking out a compass out of his
pocket Adam said, “I have a compass. We shall use it and go home “.one of them

said ‘’ why didn’t you show it yesterday?’’Adam said,’’It was getting dark and it
is not good to roam in the jungle as we might end up being in front of a wild

animal. The other said,” Do you know how to use it?”.” Yes, I do know”, said

Adam.

On the way back, boys saw many different animals and Adam would give a bit of
extra information about them. The friends explored a lot and finally reached

home. Adam parents were worried about him. Adam explain everything about
his adventure in the jungle. His mother said to him,’’ Adam you spend most of

your time in reading books. Your friends call you for playing but you are not
there. And you miss the fun time with your friends .
