had the recent pleasure of meeting a very interesting man in person at the Horizons – A New Dawn - Festival back in September in Ireland. Many attendees
anticipated his arrival due to his continued contact over a six month period. He made it his business to interact with everyone and built friendships before he even stepped a foot on Irish soil. This to me just blew my mind. His showmanship from half way around the world was second to none. It was no surprise that everyone wanted to meet and be greeted with him when he landed down to the festival. I mean who didn’t want to meet the American DJ dressed as a leprechaun sprinkling
magic and Trance tracks along his merry journey across fields of green singing and dancing to his heart’s content. What a character! I instantly knew his much awaited visit to our Emerald Isle meant an awful lot to him and how glad we are to hear that his experiences matched everything he had hoped for.
I had to share his story. He made such a huge impression on Irish ravers despite not been widely known to many of us here but the next time he comes back, his army of followers will have surely multiplied. Here’s Ronnie Alting, an aspiring DJ from Los Angeles. He made his Irish debut a few weeks back, and here’s what he had to tell us about himself.
