Nina Kraviz - Essential Mix - 07-10-2017
Kicking things off this issue with a lady that’s very much in the spotlight these days and an absolute Techno supremo, it’s Nina Kraviz ! We first heard of Nina back in 2009 when she issued productions on Efdemin's Naïf, Jus-Ed's Underground Quality, and Matt Edwards' Rekids. The following year, Kraviz issued another handful of singles, including a sound clash with Sascha Funke that appeared on BPitch Control. "Ghetto Kraviz" was her lone 2011 single and set up the release of her first album, a self-titled set for REKIDS. "Ghetto Kraviz" would prove to be an enduring club track, and was remixed numerous times throughout the decade. Following additional singles on Rekids and Rosa, as well as the Mr. Jones EP in 2013, Kraviz founded the Trip label in 2014. Her instalment of !K7's DJ-Kicks series was released in early 2015. Another mix CD, Fabric 91, followed in late 2016. Nina is on fire right now and this is her very Essential Essential Mix for 2017!

Like a bullet marking it's target Jewel Kid shot releases with labels such as Suara, Waveform, Global Underground, Soma, Tronic, Break New soil, Bitten and now his own Alleanza. These are few of the greats behind his name. Still holding a great presence in Malta's leading underground stations, he is the host every Saturday at Clique - Malta's leading club night for more than 8 years. From different platforms around the world he has embraced the privilege of holding golden tickets and an international gig schedule playing in countries and cities such as Ibiza, Miami, Sydney, Amsterdam, Finland, Barcelona, Brazil, Romania, Lithuania, Thailand and much more. Jewel’s tireless commitment and versatile music will differentiate him from any other artist around. He has created a theatre of music for other masters to play and followers to join.
