The Mover - Undetected Act From The Gloom Chamber [Planet Phuture]
This was a very welcome surprise when it dropped in my inbox and it's no secret that I am a huge fan of The Mover, particularly his early 90s releases. After a lengthy absence 'Undetected Act From The Gloom Chamber' manages to impress, with high levels of darkness ever prevalent. We are treated to eight cuts of techno, electro and menacing music throughout, and it proved to be really difficult to find a favourite but I think 'Stealth' and the especially sinister 'Doom Computer' win here.

Oliver Lieb - Epoxi [Bedrock]
Since I started buying records (20 years ago now!), I've always been a huge fan of Oliver Lieb. His timeless 'Subraumstimulation' is in my all time top ten. His percussion and attention to detail are what stand out and when I found out he was releasing an EP on Bedrock, I knew it'd be something special. 'The Force' stands out the most for me with such a funky techy groove and huge synth stabs.

Diego Amura - Phalaina [Etruria Beat]
Another month another phenomenal Etruria Beat. Here they continue their roll as one of my favourite labels with an EP from label favourite Diego Amura. They've gone to the next level on 'Phalaina' with remixes from Ben Sims and Setaoc Mass. Sims and Setaoc bring their A Game to the the table, however I'm actually more swung towards the original of Phalaina. However all four cuts are worthy of a spin.

Cowboy Rhythmbox - Tanz Exotique (Remixes) [Phantasy Sound]
When I went to Ibiza last year, you couldn't escape hearing the original EP of this, in particular the track 'Scream' which was championed by Radio 1's B Traits for quite some time. Tanz Exotique also had quite a few spins, and is now back with some new remixes from Red Axes and Marvin & Guy. Red Axes takes the track in a funky direction but I love the more industrial, darker reworking from Marvin & Guy that simply rocks the place!

RECOMMENDED
Dax J - Offending Public Morality [Monnom Black]
Dax J delivers his second album, following up to 2015's excellent 'Shades Of Black'. It's awesome to see his frankly meteoric rise since then, and on 'Offending Public Morality' we are treated to a selection of his diverse influences. The experimental and Drum'n'Bass tinged tracks really hold their own, with '1001 Amen Nights' being a highlight, but after waiting for ages for some of these tracks, I can't wait to play the much hyped title track, nor 'Acid Ascension' and 'Kerb Crawling' out! Huge.

Stigmata - Paraspectral [Modular Source]
Andre Walter's Stigmata project is resurrected after 2012's awesome 'Invest' on Nachtstrom Schallplatten. I am still caining the Stigmata Loops vinyls where there are locked grooves of some of their harder earlier works. On 'Paraspectral' the quality is still very high, with some seriously frenetic darker numbers that you know are going to do damage in festival season! Cuts of choice have to be the EBM laced 'No Heaven' and title track 'Paraspectral'.
