HISTORY OF HOUSE
PLANS FOR HISTORY OF HOUSE?
The plans for History of House are to bring serious headline acts over for 2018. We have a major announcement for Febuary, one of the most sucsessful house DJ's for the last thirty years and he has not been in this country in a long time.
BEST EXPERIENCE IN CLUBLAND?
I've a few I could mention but I'll keep it clean!
One day stands out, when I met Brandon Block, spending the day with him and playing before him. And then handing him the headphones for him to take over from me, that was a highlight in my twenty year career, so far!
Also, when I got to play the Cream of Dublin event. The crowd were amazing and up for it and really let me know, appreciated my set, it was so satisfying.
The Solas festival here in Ireland also, I had a amazing set with multi-genre music set, I played a little bit of oldskool then House, Techhouse and finishing off with Techno, the sun was shining and the crowd was well up for it! Great event.
TOP 5 ALL-TIME TUNES?
Such a hard question! Number five would have to be 'Desert' by Moods, just a lovely track to start with.
Number four would be 'Belfast' from Orbital, it's not really a banging track as such and would be hard to dance to buy beautiful to listen to.
happy clubbers enjoying themselves, based on your decissions.
Worst thing about being a promoter is of course the stress it's very hard all most impossible to enjoy yourself at the gigs and even worst if your playing yourself on the night. You have one eye on the door then one eye on the dance floor, one eye on the DJ's, so it can be stressful. Then you have people trying to talk to you but you come across as ignorant cause your mind is else where but in fairness if things go the way you planned and every one has a great night it makes it all worth while in the end!
WHATS THE BEST SET YOU HAVE HEARD IN CLUBLAND?
One of the best sets I have heard in clubland would be Orbital in the boiler room, absolute class, the fact they done the tracks live was amazing. There are just so many I could mention but this stands out in my mind.
LAST WORDS!
If every DJ and promoter supported each other things would go a lot better. Promoters need more communication with each other cause there have been some great oldskool gigs on the same night and every one would love to see the 2 acts but some promoters want it all for themselves. Sadly it's been like that for years and will remain like that for years to come!

Number three would be Kienzle and Iberle 'Touch me' the break just does it for me and amazing, with a massive build up. Number two would be 'The stars' from Moby, I had to buy his
album for this track alone, it was never released on a single so paid a pretty penny for the album has a lovely vocal going through and a real Acid House slash!
Number one for me would be Marshall Jefferson 'Move your body', not only is it one of my favourite tracks, its on Traxx, one of my favourite labels.
WHATS THE BEST AND WORST THING ABOUT BEING A PROMOTER?
The best thing about being a promoter is when you have a successful night, you can sit back and feel proud, cause every thing you have done, like venue, DJ selection works and seeing
