Artist Spotlight [Ireland]
A DJ come promoter extraordinaire. At just 19 years of age he's already accomplished more than most could ever imagine. He's clocked up residencies for names like Playhouse, Summer Sessions (Nancy Spains), radio shows like Fusion Radio 887 and Kiss Fm Cork. He's also gigged for some of the most superior clubnights across the Irish isle including Seismic, Overload Dark, Living it Large, Pure Promotions and Inferno to name but a tiny few!
In this issue we feature Cork prodigy Shane Miller. Shane is no stranger to the music scene here in Ireland, having guest mixes featured on stations such as RTE Pulse, Tonik FM Dublin and RTE 2FM. Mr Miller is also currently hosting his own shows on Fusion Radio 87.5FM in Cork. He has featured on some massive line up with Trance Superstars including Paul Van Dyk and Bryan Kearney and Jordan Suckley. He has also played alongside Amber D, Seamus Haji, Argy, Eddie Bitar and Koen Groeneveld. What makes Shane such a fantastic talent is his ability to adapt to all genres of music, and his technical ability on decks, been creative during sets.
Shane over the last few years has also promoted some top gigs around Cork at venues including Nancy Spain’s and An Spailpin Fanach with his brand Digital Revolution. Just like me, Shane started Djing at a very young age. He has also hosted Radio Shows with Kiss FM Ireland and Radio Now. He is well respected in the Djing community and I have no doubt that Shane has the potential and hunger to reach the very top in the music world. He has already achieved so much at a very young age, and we have no doubt what so ever that the best is still to come. There is an exciting air about Shane Miller. He represents the West with grave force and admiration, and already so accomplished, now taking some steps onto the road of production. There is no doubt that he will continue to prosper as the years go on. We at Zone Magazine wish Shane all the best for 2015 and of course for the future this young man has ahead.
