Judgment Enforcement – The Step-by-Step Course


                       As for paper that I use to print court forms, the inexpensive recycled paper is good

                    enough. Some courts actually require that the
                    paper be recycled. Also, inexpensive paper is
                    lighter, so your postage will often be less.
                       That leaves business cards. Don’t scrimp here.
                    Cards will last you a couple of years, so get good
                    ones. It’s the only advertisement some people will
                    have of your business, including the creditors you
                    mail letters to. Again, be creative but simple.  No
                    one likes a busy business card.

                                            Step 8:  Get a Locking Storage Cabinet


                       The documents you’ll be dealing with are sensitive and personal. You’ll have SSNs,
                    credit reports, and other information that is very personal about debtors. You want to
                    protect your records. A locking storage cabinet is an absolute necessity. A small one is

                    fine. And most data providers will require that you have one in your office.


                                              Step 9: The Best Way to Advertise

                       I’m not an advertising specialist, and only know what I’ve done. But my personal
                    experience is that Yellow Page advertising is old-school and
                    doesn’t bring in any business at all. Maybe others have
                    different opinions, but that’s mine.  For over a year I paid for
                    a three-inch Yellow Pages ad.  It cost me $177 a month, and I
                    received almost no calls at all, maybe one every other month

                    or so.  I don’t recommend advertising that way. But you can
                    try it. Maybe my experience was atypical.
