Judgment Enforcement – The Step-by-Step Course
2) By returning the judgment before it’s filed with the court, it saves you from
having to do the re-assignment paperwork back to the creditor and pay the notary
fee.
But problems like this are less likely to happen if you decide to follow “Method #2.”
Again, you will be doing more investigations on each case before taking the assignment.
This will be easy because you’ll already have the important business tools that I’ll describe
in the next section. These include at minimum:
▪ Access to one or more professional databases used by private
investigators, police, and others; and
▪ Access to a good credit reporting agency
I’ll add just one thing: I haven’t pulled a credit report in 15 years. Why not? Because I get
almost everything I need through the databases. I’m looking for real estate, cars, boats,
high rental area, professional license, and much more that is right there on a good database.
The databases will also tell you all the negative things about a JD –judgments, liens,
criminal record, evictions, and other things what may not show up on a credit report.

Now, all about the databases you can subscribe to,
so that you can investigate the JD!
