As the comet struck Earth, the dinosaurs perished. We have
spent years working to let you listen to their roar, as it were then.
The origins of Raising Dinosaurs began back in 2011, after lead
guitarist/ lead singer Greg Erickson and drummer Zack
Newman started to jam together in the basement of Zack’s house.
With original bassist, Nick Corvasce, the three continue to hang
out in the basement and play whatever came to their heads.
Throughout that summer, the three played an occasional show
for friends at summer barbecues. It was towards the end of that

summer when actual some what structured songs began to take
shape. Years of practicing and rotating bassists later, Raising
Dinosaurs played their first real show in July of 2016. With
nearly a dozen songs written as of that time, the core members,
Greg and Zack (along with new additions Tyler Boland and Ben
Lander on Rhythm Guitar and Bass respectively) recorded their
first EP from March to May 2017. The Self Titled EP is set for
release sometime in the summer of 2017.
